You are now venturing into wide waters, Mayank.. nice and discreet image..
But the image is a little too crowded and so many distractions around, especially the kid .. I guess the kid would have been gone in another moment.. But keep these coming.. I quite like vintage processing, I've tried it in my blog post titled "Sweden", but didn't stick with it though :)
@thoma - pardon the privacy violation bit. I was doing what I like and they likewise. So peace :-) Yep the processing is old school lomo processing. Yes I did check 13ftfall.com. Very interesting style, haunting and dark. I loved the continuous common theme. Now connected on flickr too. thanks for sharing.
@georgie - wide waters. I quiet like the word. It was discreet, I shot it from behind a coconut seller. I wonder if they would have bothered anyways, the fear was all in my mind i think. I am using erics preset - old school lomo. Experimenting with images where B&W does not seem to work as well. As regards to the crowded image, well not much i could do with the environment. As for the boy, I actually composed him in the frame knowingly. I am trying to get multi layered subjects in the shot, inspired by my coach and guide Kaushal. I kind of like that it brings more subtle contents in the shot - in this case it clearly does seem to work :-) thanks for feedback.

Mayank I like the moment and timing. Also like the coconuts and the boy. The crowd is important to the context of the image. May have been better if the couple were not so centered though.

It is tough. The city size and scale does allow anonymity. Actually its a great subject to document. Conservatism be damned, societal, community pressure all thrown to winds. I hope you picked the subtle point in this image.

No surprise that I love the vintage processing! And it's a subtle message..with the unending throngs of people.. its difficult for lovers (and photographers) to ever get a uncrowded moment in urban India
