Into nothingness

Into nothingness
Into Nothingness - Airoli, Mumbai

Its amazing how many times I have come back from a photo walk and come back with photographs which could have been taken anywhere but mumbai. Goes on to show, perhaps, that beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.

This landscape, which seems to vanish into infinite space, is shot from the bridge of Airoli (Navi Mumbai) overlooking the creek. You should be able to find the tell tale symbols of a muddy creek; the mangroves, an abandoned boat and those poles which I believe are fisherman contraptions. Perhaps with catch waiting for the fisherman to come and untangle.

You can see some of my other photographs from 'Unseen Mumbai' on my blog post here.

The pic really merges into the horizon most seamlessly.
