Night retreats

Night retreats

This one was shot at 5 am in the morning, on a street in powai.  The sun was still shifting in the bed, struggling to wake up while the Night retreated back to its shell.

Like you I too miss a tranquil period on the streets of the city. One has to hold one's life in one's hand while navigating them all through the day -- even side streets are busy with vehicles whizzing past all the time.

that was a nice shot. Between you and Magiceye, I get my fill of Mumbai nostalgia :)

Great pic. Like one of my friends described it...a time when we were car-free and hence carefree..

Mayank said...

@Arun - Car Free = Care Free... wow. Well said.

this snap has a surreal feel about it. hard to make out whether its night or day. the contrast changes are nicely done.
